Barr-Harris
Children's Grief Center |
The Barr-Harris Children's Grief Center has developed graduate-level training opportunities which include clinical work with children and their families who have suffered the loss of a parent or other significant family member through death, divorce or placement into foster care. The psychotherapeutic approach is developmental.Students with receive individual supervision and extensive training in child development, particularly as it relates to child bereavement. This placement is best suited to advanced graduate level students. First year students who have had extensive experience working with children would also be considered. The potential student would have a very rich and rewarding clinical experience which should greatly prepare them in their professional careers.
